What the Customer Asked For
The customer’s goal was to create a garden that balanced relaxation and hands-on gardening. As plant enthusiasts, they wanted plenty of flower beds for planting and growing, complemented by a composite decking area leading out from the house to overlook the garden. They also envisioned a patio area, a stoned section for entertaining, and functional spaces for storage and other activities.
Project Challenges
Weather posed a significant challenge, as unpredictable conditions impacted progress. Additionally, access to the garden was difficult due to a 6-foot concrete plinth. To overcome this, we constructed a temporary stone ramp to transport materials safely and efficiently.
We transformed the space by integrating multiple elements to meet the customer’s vision:
Installed a higher-tier composite decking area to create a seamless flow from the house into the garden.
Built a functional and stylish garden room for additional relaxation or work.
Added steps leading into the main garden for easy access.
Designed stoned areas for entertaining guests.
Constructed fencing and trellis fencing for privacy and aesthetics.
Paved specific sections to define walking paths and outdoor living zones.
Laid fresh grass for a natural and inviting atmosphere.
Built a custom garden shed to meet the customer’s storage needs.
The final result was a versatile and beautifully designed garden that fulfilled the customer’s goals. The new layout provided ample space for planting and growing, while the composite decking and patio areas offered relaxing and entertaining zones. The garden room and shed added functionality, and the entire space was transformed into a stunning, multi-purpose outdoor retreat. The customer was delighted with the attention to detail and the seamless execution of their vision.
